Manage content saved on your device via your 
desktop or mobile browser using Wi-Fi 
technology. The Kies via Wi-Fi setting connects 
your phone via Wi-Fi to the Kies application, 
which you can install on your computer.

Note: To sync your device to a PC, it is highly 

recommended that you install Samsung 
Kies, which is available at

Mac).

Note: If you are a Windows XP user, ensure that 

you have Windows XP Service Pack 3 or 
higher installed on your computer. Also, 
ensure that you have Samsung Kies 2.0 or 
Windows Media Player 10 or higher 
installed on your computer.

WiFi Hotspot

Use WiFi Hotspot to share your phone’s internet 
connection with up to 8 PCs or other devices 
through Wi-Fi, using your phone as the mobile 
hotspot. 

Note: WiFi Hotspot requires a subscription to WiFi 

Hotspot/Mobile Broadband Connect service. 
Contact your Wireless Provider for more 
information.

Mobile Hotspot consumes battery power 
and uses data service. While the WiFi 
Hotspot is active, your phone’s applications 
will use the WiFi Hotspot data allowance.

Configure your phone’s WiFi Hotspot settings, 
including your phone’s name and password, and 
set the visibility of your phone’s Wi-Fi hotspot.
