Unpin a Tile 

►  Tap and hold a tile until it pops up, and then tap 

 Unpin. 

You can choose a color to use as an accent color, to highlight items with your favorite color. The 
accent color applies to tiles on Start, web links, and other items. 

1.  From 

 Start, flick left to the App list, and then tap 

 Settings. 

2.  Tap Theme, and then tap the Accent color list to choose a color. 

You can make the Start background black or white.

2.  Tap theme, and then tap the Background list to choose a color. 

Note:  Using a white background can use more battery power. 

You can lock your phone’s screen, to prevent unauthorized access. However, your phone can 
give you information, even when the screen is locked.  

You can choose what to display on your lock screen.

Notifications from some apps

A picture to use as a background, from your own images, or from Bing. If you’re playing
