To adjust the Clamp Jaws, turn the small Knob on the Clamp Lever.
If you turn the knob in the direction of the counter-clockwise, the
jaws will open wider.
If you turn the knob in the direction of clockwise, the jaws will be
narrower. (see Fig. R)

If you wish to clamp the top tube of your bike, set the Clamp Jaws
horizontally in advance. (see Fig. S)

Place the top tube of your bike onto the lower jaw, and pull up
the Clamp Lever to shut the jaws. (see Fig. T)
If you feel no resistance when the jaws areshut your bike is
not clamped correctly.  Turn the Knob on the Clamp Lever
clockwise to make the clearance between the jaws narrower
until you feel some resistance before clamping the jaws fully.
It should be the proper position.
Pull up the lever strongly and shut the jaws until click.

Do not turn the knob on the clamp lever for
adjusting the jaws AFTER you have shut the
jaws.
Adjusting the jaws step must be done BEFORE
shutting the jaws.

Do not set the bike upsidedown as the clamp will not
hold the bicycle securely in the position. (see Fig. U)
We don’t recommend you to use the Clamp Jaws upside
down (the moving part is locating lower) because the bike
may fall off suddenly if the clamp is loosened.
