This is not a malfunction.

These pixels do not affect the recorded pictures.

In dark places, noise may appear to maintain the brightness of the LCD monitor. This does not 

affect the pictures you are recording.

Is the flash closed?

> Open the flash by sliding [

 OPEN]. 

Flash mode is not available when auto bracket 

 or burst have been set.

The flash is activated twice when red-eye reduction 

 has been set.

Is it set to [FLASH BURST] 

 in scene mode?
