Choosing A Location 
Do the following: 
x Choose the best location 
x Connect the base phone 
x Choose the dialing mode 
Where you place the base phone affects the reception quality of the handset.    If you have multiple 
handsets system, please keep all handsets approx same distance from the base.  In order to 
ensure all handsets perform uniformly. 
x Away from another cordless telephone. 
x Do not put more than 1 handset in the 1 meter proximity area to avoid unexpected interferes. 
x Place the base near an AC electrical outlet and near telephone line jacks. 
x Place the base away from metal walls and metal file cabinets. 
CAUTION: The cordless telephone operates at a frequency that may cause interference to nearby 
TVs and VCRs or PC, the base phone should not be placed near, or on top of a TV or VCR or PC.   
If interference is experienced, moving the cordless telephone farther away from the TV or VCR or PC 
will often reduce or eliminate the interference. 
Desk Mounting 
Desk Mounting 
One of the special features of your telephone is the unique design if the MOUNTING BRACKET 
which can hold your phone at an angle of 30º when desk mounting. 
1.  30ºPosition (See Figure 1): 
With the back of the BASE UNIT facing up, insert the hooks of the MOUNTING BRACKET 
(following the arrow direction for the DESK MOUNT) into the matching slots of the BASE UNIT
(as shown in Figure 2). Then slide the MOUNTING BRASCKET into place as indicated by the 
arrows.

IMPORTANT:  Attach the MOUNTING BRACKET when using your phone on a desk.
IMPORTANT 
Placing your BASE UNIT near appliances such as 
television, refrigerators, radios, or microwave ovens 
may cause interference. 
Away from heat sources, such as 
radiators, air ducts, and sunlight 
Away from VCR’s and TV set and 
other electronic equipment. 
Away from noise sources 
such as a window by a 
street with heavy traffic 
Near a central 
location and on a 
level surface. 
Away from a 
microwave oven 
Away from a 
person computer 
Away from excessive 
moisture, extremely 
low temperatures, 
dust, mechanical 
vibration, or shock
