CAUTION: Before installing the receiver’s cable. Turn off your computer. Plugging and unplugging cables
to your computer’s mouse port while the computer is running can damage the mouse port or your computer.
The receiver is connected to your computer via a 1.2-meter USB cable. And it plugs into your computer’s
USB port. If you want to use the mouse in PS / 2 mode, use the adaptor and connect the cable to your
computer’s mouse port.
For PS / 2 installation

1. Make sure that your computer is turned off.
2. Connect the cable to the computer’s 6-pin PS/2 mouse port.
For USB port installation
Windows 98 or higher Macintosh OS 8.6 or higher is required for USB port installation. Connect the receiver
cable to the USB port on the computer. For Windows, Windows98 you may be prompted to insert the
Windows software CD. Insert this software CD into the computer’s CD-ROM driver when asked to do so.
Then follow the on-screen instructions. Systems that are higher than Windows98 SE can install USB
equipment automatically.

After you have installed the receiver, you are ready to place the mouse on your desktop. Because the mouse
uses cordless radio technology, placement of your mouse is not critical, giving you considerable freedom of
movement and a more enjoyable computing experience.
For optimal performance, place the stand at least 8 inches or 20 centimetres away from other electrical
devices, such as the computer, the computer monitor, or other external electrical devices.

Changing the security Ids
The security Ids should be set each time for battery assembly. Your mouse comes with 256 security IDs, there
will be a new security Ids after set the security Ids each time. If you are using a new Cordless Mouse or get
undesired interference from another same mouse used nearby, please do as follows:
1. Place the Mouse at about 8 inches or 20 centimetres away from the Receiver
2. Press the CONNECT button on the Receiver.
3. Press the CONNECT button on the bottom of the Mouse.
