6.15 Troubleshooting
Issues
Possible cause and remedy
No data is being
received by a connected
chart plotter
• Check that the power supply is connected
correctly.
• Check that the power supply is a 12V or
24V supply.
• Check that the connections to the chart
plotter are correct.
The screen is not illumi-
nated

The RED ‘Alarm’ icon is

• The unit may not have a valid MMSI.

range. Check that the power supply is
within the range 9.6V to 31.2V
