Safety tips

This extension cable is designed to work only with Element device. Do not use the cable with

other OBD devices. This may result in permanent damage to the extension cable or the device.

When you are choosing where to place your Element, make sure the Element LEDs do not

distract you from driving and are not reflecting in the windshield.

Make sure the cable is held by the clips so it’s out of the way of your car’s controls, pedals, and

levers. Make sure the device is securely fixed in its position and will not fall on the brake pedal.

Clean your dashboard before applying the clips. Cable clips will stick more firmly to the surface if

you clean it with degreasing wipes.

You can rotate the cable where it’s plugged into the OBD-II port for better positioning. Do not

rotate the cable more than 360 degrees.
