Element can only be installed with a standard OBD-II port or its extension cord.

Element installation/uninstallation should only take place when the vehicle ignition is turned off.

Do not install Element:

- In the airbag deployment zone;

- In the vehicle exposed to direct sunlight;

Warning: do not leave Element unattended in the vehicle for more than 12 hours.

Usage

Element is designed to be used exclusively in the vehicle.

Element and its battery can be damaged if dropped, exposed to fire or liquid, or taken apart in any

way. If you assume Element or its battery to be damaged, stop using the device immediately to

avoid overheating or injury.

Receiving a GPS signal

Connecting to the GSM network and acquiring a satellite signal may take some time, typically 1-3

minutes.

Some basic conditions must be met for signals to be properly received:

- must be in an area covered by the GSM network;

- must be in an open space (i.e. above ground) for reliable reception of satellite signals.

Repairs

Do not disassemble Element or attempt to repair the device. Attempts to take Element apart may

result in damage or injury. If Element is damaged or malfunctioning, contact WayRay

or an authorized service center.

Battery

Do not attempt to replace the battery. The lithium polymer battery should only be replaced by

WayRay or an authorized service provider.* Improper replacement or repair may result

in damage to the battery, overheating and injury. The battery must be recycled or disposed of

separately from household waste. Do not incinerate the battery. For battery maintenance and

Driving Safety

Do not use the Element app on any mobile device while driving.
