 The product is intended to be located and used only in dry indoor spaces; it must not 
get damp or wet.

    Keep a minimum clearance between the light outlet and the illuminated areas 

(e.g., easily fl ammable objects such as curtains or the like). The appropriate 
minimum distance is specifi ed on the bulb (in the illustration to the left, the 
minimum distance is 0.2 m).

Observe the operating instructions!

 

•  Unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not allowed for 

safety and approval reasons (CE).

 

•  The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Install the 

product out of the reach of children.

 

• The product is designed according to protection class III. 

 

•  The LED light may be operated only by a constant current source; use a suitable 

ballast (LED driver). To this end, refer to the chapter “Technical Data”.  

 

   Operation with commercially available halogen transformers, power supply units 

or the like is not possible; doing so destroys the light, loss of guarantee!

 

•  The LED light may be installed and used only in dry indoor rooms; it must not 

become damp or wet.

 

• Use the lamp only when it is permanently mounted.

  •  Do not use this light in rooms that are under adverse ambient conditions where 

combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explo-
sion!

 

•  Do not hang or attach objects (e.g. decorative material) to the light; there is a risk 

of fi re!

 

• Caution, LED light: 

 

  Do not look directly into the LED light!

 

  Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments! 

 

•  The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or 

heavy mechanical stress.

 

•  If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be 

turned off and precautions must be taken to ensure that it is not used unintention-
ally. After this, arrange for an expert to check the product.

 

  Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:

 

  -  the product shows visible signs of damage

 

  -   the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is fl ickering light, 

leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration 
of the product or to adjacent surfaces)

 

  -  the product was stored under unfavourable conditions

 

  -  it was exposed to heavy loads during transport

 

•  Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a 

dangerous plaything for children.

 

•  In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s 

Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities must 
be observed!

 

•   If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our

•  Make sure you install the light only on a solid base, e.g. beneath a kitchen cupboard. 

Depending on the mounting location, use appropriate screws and, if necessary, dowels.

•   The light is intended to be placed and used only in dry indoor rooms; it must not become 

damp or wet.

•  Do not mount the light on easily fl ammable surfaces.
•  Keep suffi cient distance between the light-emitting opening of the light and the exposed 

surfaces; otherwise, discolouration of the exposed surface may result. Furthermore, there is 
a fi re hazard. 

•  The light must be installed and used out of the reach of children.
•   The LED light may be installed and connected only in the absence of any voltage/current. 

   The LED light may be operated only by a constant current source; use a suitable 

ballast (LED driver). To this end, refer to the chapter “Technical Data”.  

 

 The LED light may not be connected to a commercially available halogen trans-
former; this will damage the LED light, loss of guarantee!
