d) Controlling Elevator and Rudder Linkage
The servos for the elevator and rudder (1 and 2) are already installed in
the fuselage. The same goes for the rods required for linkage.
Put the rudder horns of the servos at precisely 90° to the servo casing.
Shorten the rods for elevator and rudder at the dampening areas by
twisting the clevises in or out so that the dampening surfaces are neu-
tral and attach the clevises to the rudder horns (4 and 5).
Regarding the elevator, the clevis should be hooked into the outer hole
of the rudder horn, for the rudder in the inner hole, for the first flights.
Move the Bowden cable tubes (3) of the two linkages in a manner that
achieves a distance of approx. 25 to 30 mm from the rudder horn in a
neutral servo position.
Then glue the Bowden cable tubes for the elevator and rudder (6 and
7) at the rear of the fuselage exit with suitable glue (e.g. 5-minute epoxy
glue) to the fuselage.
e) Installing the Aerial
The model includes a plastic aerial (1). This aerial is attached to the
bottom of the fuselage (2) with suitable glue (e.g. 5-minute epoxy glue).
