7. SYSTEM CHECKING FROM PERIPHERAL DEVICE 
 
HELPFUL CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
 
 
Take the following corrective actions when the speed check cannot be made. 
 
Status Corrective 
Action 
Check that the servo amplifier is powered. 
Servo signal is OFF 
Check the connection of the external I/O signal connector. 
Check that the servo amplifier is powered. 
Ready signal is OFF 
Check the connection of the external I/O signal connector. 
Alarm signal is ON 
Take the corrective action given in the servo amplifier installation guide. 
Check the connection of the external I/O signal connector. 
Upper/lower limit is OFF 
Check for any object in contact with the upper/lower limit switch. 
Stop signal is ON 
Turn off the external stop signal. 
JOG operation cannot be 
performed. 
Check that JOG speed setting is not "0". 
Error/warning occurred 
Check the error/warning code using [Help] (refer to Section 12.11), and check and remove 
the cause.
