4.3.5.  Serial port opening
Check “Open” in “Serial Port” in the main window or in the menu
bar to open the port. The communication with cubes is
automatically detected and non-communicable panels become
gray.
Note: When you use the port for any other applications, Wallaby
should close the port.
4.3.6. Turning
on
Data
transmission or reading is not allowed during cube standby
state. Turn on the cubes before these operations.
1.  Select panels to turn on.
2.  Check “ON” in “Power” in “Power and Mute” in the main
window to turn on the cubes. To turn off (go back to stand-by
state), check “OFF”.
4.3.7.  Picture mute off
You can cancel the picture mute of cubes to display images. Even if
you set the picture mute off, no image is displayed with no signal input.
1.  Select panels to control.
2.  Check “OFF” in “Mute” in “Power and Mute” in the main window.
4.3.8. Data
reading
Just after starting up the software, the data in the software may not
synchronize with actual cube data. In this case, read the cube data to
update the data in the software.
1.  Select panels to read data.
2.  Click “Read parameter” in “Edit” menu to read the data.

Or you can also read them by right-click on panels.
1.  Select panels to read data.
2.  Right-click the active panels to select “Read Parameter” in the
right-click menu.
Note: Data readings may take a while. Necessary time is in proportion
to the number of active panels.

4.4. Adjustment
Set items in Service tab (chapter 4.4.1, on page 102), Input tab (chapter 4.4.2, on page 106), and
Display tab (chapter 4.4.3, on page 109). The setting is stored in a nonvolatile memory in each
cube.
•
The software can control and adjust cubes regardless of their operation mode (chapter
1.4.1.2, on page 26)
•
When you exit each tab after the adjustment, click “Save” button surely to save the setting in
the nonvolatile memory in each cube. This operation is not necessary when it has already
been stored or it is not changed.
•
In the following description, the Wallaby menus are explained in contrast with the remote
control operation. Any menus are not displayed on screen by Wallaby operation.
