Chapter 6 Mixer Channel Strip Detail
[F4 (AUX.B)] AUX B
This selects the signal to be assigned to the AUX B jacks.
FX1:
The signal at the EFFECT 1 bus. 
FX2:
The signal at the EFFECT 2 bus.
AUX1/FX3:
The signal at the AUX1 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 3 bus.
AUX2/FX4:
The signal at the AUX2 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 4 bus.
AUX3/AUX:
The signal at the AUX3 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the AUX bus.
[F5 (DOUT1)] DIGITAL OUT 1
This selects the signal to be assigned to the DIGITAL OUT 1 
(coaxial) connector.
MST:
The signal at the MASTER jacks (MIX bus).
MON:
The signal at the MONITOR jacks.
FX1:
The signal at the EFFECT 1 bus.
FX2:
The signal at the EFFECT 2 bus.
AUX1/FX3:
The signal at the AUX1 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 3 bus.
AUX2/FX4:
The signal at the AUX2 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 4 bus.
AUX3/AUX:
The signal at the AUX3 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the AUX bus.
[F6 (DOUT2)] DIGITAL OUT 2
This selects the signal to be assigned to the DIGITAL OUT 2 
(optical) connector.
MST:
The signal at the MASTER jacks (MIX bus).
MON:
The signal at the MONITOR jacks.
FX1:
The signal at the EFFECT 1 bus.
FX2:
The signal at the EFFECT 2 bus.
AUX1/FX3:
The signal at the AUX1 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 3 bus.
AUX2/FX4:
The signal at the AUX2 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the EFFECT 4 bus.
AUX3/AUX:
The signal at the AUX3 bus, or, when a second VS8F-2 Effect 
card is installed in the VS-1824, the AUX bus.
[F1 (FX1In)] Effect 1 Insert
After pressing [F1 (FX1In)], or moving the cursor to the 
FXIns area, press [ENTER].
FX1 (Effect Insert Switch)
This connects the effect in the Master Block section of the 
mixer.
Off:
The effect is not inserted.
Ins:
The stereo effect is inserted into the Master Block.
* When Ins is selected, that effect cannot be used on any mixer 
channel. If the name of an input or track appears as the Insert 
Switch setting, the effect is already inserted in the displayed 
input or track. You will need to select the input or track that is 
using that effect and turn its Effect Insert Switch off.
Snd (Insert Send Level)
This adjusts the level of signal (-42 dB to +6 dB) sent to the 
effect. The default setting is 0 dB.
Rtn (Insert Return Level)
This adjusts the level of signal (-42 dB to +6 dB) returned 
from the effect. The default setting is 0 dB.
