External Screen Remains Dark
Cause/Remedy
The following causes are possible:
Monitor is switched off
S
Switch on the screen.
Screen has been dimmed
S
Press any key on the keyboard.
Brightness control set to dark

Set the screen brightness control lighter. Please refer to the monitor operating
manual for more detailed information.

Power cable or monitor cable not connected

Switch the monitor and computing unit off.
S
Check that the power cable is properly connected to the monitor and to the
computing unit or a grounded shockproof socket.

Check that the monitor cable is properly connected to the computing unit and
