Carefully unpack the hand mixer and remove all packaging materials. Wipe the 
main unit with a clean, damp cloth.  Do not immerse the main unit in water or 
other liquid.  To remove any dust that may have accumulated on the removable 
parts during packaging, wash the accessories with warm soapy water or place in 
the top rack of the dishwasher. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 
 

 
ATTACHING ACCESSORIES 
 
1)  Make sure that the speed control knob is in the “0” position and that it is 

disconnected from the outlet. 

2)  Insert one beater at a time by placing the stem end of the beaters into the 

opening on the bottom of the mixer.  Press and twist lightly until the beater 
clicks into position.

Make sure that the speed control knob is in the “0” position and that the 
main unit is disconnected from the outlet. 

2) 

Press the ejector button (speed control knob) firmly to release the beaters 
from the mixer. 

3) 

Remove beaters from the mixer. 

 
MIXING 
 
1)  Begin blending or mixing at a low speed, guide mixer around sides and 

through the center of the bowl. Follow the speed guide. Over-beating tends 
to make some mixtures tough. Stop the mixer as needed, to scrape the sides 
and bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula. 

2)  To add ingredients, rest the mixer on its heel with beaters positioned over the 

mixing bowl. This assures drippings will fall back into the mixing bowl. To 
remove excess batter from the beaters, set the mixer to the lowest speed 
and raise the beaters slowly. Be sure to turn unit to “0” position before raising 
the beaters completely out of the mixing bowl.
