Connections & Setup
Installing the Base Unit
Choose the best location to install the base, it should be placed on a level surface such as a desk or
table top.
Connecting the AC (Electrical) Power
Plug one end of the base power adaptor cord into the power jack on the bottom of the base and the
other end into an electrical outlet.
CAUTION: Use only the ATLINKS USA, Inc. AC power adaptor 5-2648 that came with this unit.
Using other power supplies may damage the unit.
NOTE: When the handset is placed in the cradle, the HOME indicator on the base illuminates to
indicate the handset battery is charging.
Connecting the Telephone Line
On the base, plug one end of the telephone line cord into the jack on the bottom of the base and the
other end into a modular wall phone jack.
