Care and Maintenance
Components of the highest quality are used in your MC 15. This 
assures years of trouble free operation. The following precautions 
should still be made, however.
Cleaning the cabinet
NOTICE: Do not touch the drive units by hand. Especially the tweeter, 
which uses a very fine fabric dome with an ultra-thin coating.
X To clean the cabinet use a moistened cloth or a mild detergent.
Do not use aggressive cleaning solutions.
Replacing the fuse
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage Inside
Hazardous voltage inside may lead to an electrical 
shock when opening the cabinet.
X Do not open cabinet. There are no user serviceable 
parts inside the speaker.

Power LED 
lights green 
but no sound.
No signal from 
preamplifier.
X Check the preamplifier and the 
signal source for proper cabling and 
setting.
Speaker is 
damaged.
X Switch speakers to check if the 
problem is caused by the speaker.
X If the speaker is damaged, contact 
your Dynaudio dealer.
Power LED 
does not light 
at all.
No line voltage.
X Check if the mains cable is plugged 
in properly.
X Check if mains voltage is present at 
the mains socket.
Speaker is switched 
off.
X Switch the speaker on.
Fuse is blown.
X Replace the fuse (see “Replacing 
X If the fuse is replaced and still no 
sound, contact your Dynaudio 
Dealer.
Protection 
LED lights 
red.
Amplifier module is 
overheated.
1. Check the temperature of the heat 
sink (5). If it feels hot turn off the 
speaker and wait for about 10 
minutes to allow the amplifier to 
cool off. Turn it on again.
2. If it works now it is ok, but you may 
need better air circulation around 
your speaker.
CAUTION
Wrong Fuse Type
Using a wrong fuse type will damage the speaker and 
may cause fire.
X Replace fuse only with same type and rating.
