Door reversal
Notes on operation
During normal operation the following noises may be heard:
O Stifled murmur from compressor when it is working.
O Soft gurgling from the coolant flowing through the cooling system.
O Click from the thermostat switching on and off.
This appliance has the facility to hang the door on
the opposite side.
Depending upon where you plan to locate the
freezer, reversing the door may make access more
convenient.
1. Remove the screw, hinge cover, hinge screws
and hinge (Figure 5).
2. Lift the door off the lower hinge pin (Figure 6).
3. Unscrew the lower hinge bracket screws and
remove the lower hinge bracket (Figure 7).
4. Undo the lower hinge pin and replace it in the
adjacent hole in the bracket. Tighten the pin
(Figure 7).
5. Remove the lower hinge screws from the left-
hand side of the cabinet and fit the packing strip (if
fitted) and hinge bracket (Figure 7). Replace the
original lower hinge screws in the right-hand fixing
holes.
6. Remove the blanking caps which cover the left-
hand fixing holes and fit them to the holes on the
other side of the cabinet.
7. Support the door on the lower hinge pin. Take
the hinge and locate the pin in the bush at the top
of the door. Fit the hinge to the top of the cabinet
with the three hinge screws. Fit the hinge cover
and secure it with the screw.
