Attaching the Antistatic Wrist Strap
The Versalar routers ship with an antistatic wrist strap. You must wear this strap
whenever you remove, install, and handle power supplies.

The antistatic wrist strap directs the discharge of static electricity from your body
to the chassis of the switch, thereby avoiding discharge to, and possible damage
of, sensitive electronic components.

To attach the antistatic wrist strap:
1.
Locate the antistatic wrist strap in the shipping container.
2.
Verify that the cable is attached to the wrist strap.
3.
Place the strap around your wrist.
4.
Adjust the strap to ensure that the metal buckle inside the strap touches
your skin.

If you are using the Versalar 15000, attach the strap to the front
