To display the events stored in all event buffers, enter the following command:

The system sorts the events and displays them in chronological order.

To limit the display of events, enter the 

 command as follows:

You can enter any combination of the following optional arguments:

vol:log_file

 specifies the volume number where a log file is located and the name 

of the log file. The system displays the events saved to this file.

date

 is the date in mm/dd/yy format. The system displays the events logged on and 

after that date.

time

 is the time in hh:mm:ss format. You can enter ranges from 00:00:00 to 

23:59:59. The system displays the events logged at and after that time.

entity

 is a software service that logs events. When the entity contains spaces, 

enclose it in quotation marks. Use uppercase letters when specifying the entity 
name. For a list of the entities, see the event database.

severity

 is one or more letter codes for an event type. The system displays the 

events by type. The severity codes are 

 or 

 for fault, 

 or 

 for informational, 

 or 

 for trace, 

 or 

 for warning, and 

 or 

 for debug. (Debug events are intended 

only for Nortel Networks Technical Solutions Center personnel.)

slot_ID

 is the number of the slot containing an SSP. The system displays the events 

associated with the processor. 

To stop the command, press [Control-c] (hold down the Control key and 

press c).
