Cables
Use the two cables supplied with this WIF kit to connect the reader to your workstation
and keyboard, as shown in your Wedge Reader User’s Manual. To order a replacement

Power Supply
The reader requires an external power supply if the total current drawn by the reader
and all connected HP-HIL devices exceeds 1000 mA. Otherwise, the reader does not
require an external power supply. For either type of power supply, set the PCB jumper
to connect pins 2 and 3 on the reader’s rear panel.
