Remove the box contents. Remove the four panel-screws and the plastic
rear-panel.
Remove the metal sleeve from the inner drive tray by sliding the
sleeve backwards, away from the plastic front-panel. Take note of
the rear end of the tray (containing the logic board) and the front
end (containing the LED and plastic front-panel).

Place your 3.5” SATAII drive into the tray at a 45 degree angle
with the power and data ports carefully aligned to the power and
data jacks on the logic board. Once aligned, slide carefully until
you feel the plug firmly engage the drive-ports. Be careful to
avoid crimping the power wire!
