Setting Options (underline indicates factory default)
Controller
Channel
Sets the channel to assign to the CH button on the display controller.
Select a CH button and register a channel number. A list of settings under the menu "Channel
Settings" (
51) is displayed.
Display Name
Sets the name of the main unit. You can input up to 16 alphanumeric characters.
Date/Time
Sets the year/month/date/hour/minute.
Power Indicator Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the power indicator on the main unit. 5 is the brightest.
Off, 1 to 5 (2)
Compatible Settings
Sets the version of ACESproxy.

Firmware Update
This function is used to update the video display firmware. Refer to the Canon website for detailed
information.
Protect Settings
Locks the settings so they cannot be changed. When you press the MENU button, "Signal/System
Information" appears, but other operations are grayed out because they are locked.
•  Unlocking Protect Settings
Move the selection frame to "Protect" and press the SET button for approximately 3 seconds.
When a password has been set, enter the password and select "OK".
Password
Set a password to protect settings. Use a four-digit number (0000 to 9999). The initial password is
blank.
Protect Target
You can remove Picture Mode and Select Channel from the items to be protected.
Picture Mode: Select "On" to protect or "Off" to exclude settings for "Picture Mode".

Select Channel: Select "On" to protect or "Off" to exclude settings for "Select Channel".

Protect
Select "OK" to protect. When a password has been set, enter the password and select "OK".
Controller Settings
Configures settings for the display controller.
Knob Lock
Locks the SHARPNESS, CHROMA, BRIGHTNESS, and CONTRAST knobs and RESET buttons on
the display controller when the OSD menu is closed (also applied when CDL is selected). Also set
using the F10 button on the display controller (
On, Off
Display List
Displays the list of displays registered to the display controller. You can delete displays or change
their listed order when two or more displays are recognized.
Delete: Delete the registered displays.
Switch: Change F button (F1 to F10) that registered the display.
