How Agents are Associated With a Site

When an agent is created, it gets associated with a site. This site is used as a default
printer site when a printer is discovered for the first time.

How To Change the Site Associated With
an Agent

An agent’s site cannot be changed.

Printers Action Menu Descriptions

• Change Site: Use this option when your printer is moved to a new building or to make

the printer show up in a different location on the map.

• Print Welcome Page: Display the Welcome Page by the printer. It may also be used

as a test print. There is no Cloud charge for this; it does not consume any job credits.
It contains user instructions for obtaining the Mobile Print Cloud Print Portal app.

• Enable Printer: Make a printer usable by Cloud. This will consume (require) a license

if you are licensing Mobile Print Cloud by devices.

• Disable Printer: Make a printer unusable by Cloud but leave it in the discovered list.

This frees any device license used by the printer.

• Mark as Public: Make the printer a public printer. Users do not need to enter a

company code to access the printer from the Print Portal app.

• Mark as Private: Make the printer a private printer. Users need to enter a company

code to access the printer or to be added to the account’s allowed list.

• Set Accounting Mode: Select the accounting mode that is set on the printer.

• Set Client Application Installation Mode: Installs or uninstalls the @PrintByXerox

app on the selected MFP(s).

• Set Cardless Authentication Mode: Enables or disables the ability to lock or unlock

the MFP UI.

• Set Direct Email Mode: Allow direct email printing by anonymous users.

• Repair: Attempts to reset the print device to the settings needed for proper

communications.
