Online Adjust
Certain features in a JDL file require an Offset value to specify where it exists in
an input record. Examples of this are FONTINDEX, IDEN settings and PCC.
When data is converted from an online environment to a PC based environment,
the data is quite often changed, that is, bytes may be added/removed from the
beginning of the input record.
To allow the JDL conversion to cater for this scenario, you can specify a value
with which to adjust the offset values specified in the JDL. This saves you the
laborious task of working through the resultant ENV file and manually changing
the relevant values.
