Since the DocuColor 12 requires a sole use outlet, the external
(Tier I) DFE cannot share the same outlet with the copier.

The power outlet for the DFE must be within a 3 foot radius from the
back of the unit for both stationary and movable installations, and
right and left side installations. See the following diagrams.

Minimum space requirements for Fiery DFEs:
•
24 inches (610 mm) on the right side or left side between the
DocuColor 12 or any accessories (High Capacity Feeder, Sorter/
Mailbox, or Edit Pad) and the DFE.
