Maximum Image Sizes
The DocuColor 12 will reproduce 11x17” full bleed when printing on
12x18” paper.  Full bleed is defined as providing an extra 3 mm image
area around the perimeter of 11x17”.  The maximum images are:

Recommended paper to maximize image quality and product
reliability is Color Xpressions 24 lb (smooth bright white paper).
This paper is specifically designed to maximize image quality and
machine performance over a wide range of environmental
conditions.

Using coated (e.g., glossy, matte coated or photo finished /
proofing) and/ or extra heavyweight (i.e., >90 lb. Index / 164 gsm)
stock may result in degraded reliability performance for the
DocuColor 12.   Customers using these materials exclusively or
extensively will see decreased performance as it relates to image
quality and product reliability.

Attempts to feed heavier than recommended paper stocks, an/or
misuse of the media settings, may cause machine damage or
poor image quality. Using media at run modes other than that
recommended for the grade may cause poor image quality and
serious machine damage.

Label stock must be fed from trays 2-4 using heavyweight mode.
Feeding labels from tray 5 (multiple sheet inserter) may result in
labels peeling and causing damage to the DocuColor 12.

Xerox stock 32 lb bond (3R5093) and 60 lb cover (3R5095), which
were designed for the xerographic process, can be run
satisfactorily.

Output:
Simple Output tray will handle up to 200 sheets.
Optional High Capacity Offset Catch Tray  will handle up to
500 sheets
  Optional Mailbox/Sorter configuration combines 10-mailbox /
sorter bins (which handle up to 100 sheets of 20# paper in
each bin) with the High Capacity Offset Catch Tray (with 500
sheet capacity).  These bins can be configured ONLY as
mailbox bins for printing.  Note that the High Capacity Offset
Catch Tray is required for the Mailbox/Sorter configuration to
operate.
Optional In-Line Stapler Finisher combines 10 mailbox / sorter
bins which handle up to 100 sheets of 20# paper in each bin)
with the High Capacity Multi-Position Finishing Offset Catch
Tray (with 1000 sheet capacity) and a Center output Tray (with
a 300 sheet capacity).

Duplex (2-sided) Printing
The DocuColor 12 can automatically perform two-sided printing on
paper weights up to 28# bond (105 gsm) and paper sizes up to 11x17”
(A3) from paper trays 1-4; and 8.5x11” papers from tray 6.
Manual two-sided printing can be done from tray 5 for paper weights
up to 140# index (250 gsm) and paper sizes up to 12x18” (or SRA3:
320mm x 450mm).
As with any copier or printer, duplex performance is not expected to
match the performance for single sided copying.  Paper jam rates may
be higher than the rate you will experience for the same throughput
material in single sided mode.

Inserting Prints Into High Volume Copiers
DocuColor 12 output can be used as input to the Xerox 5100 or the
Xerox 5800 Interposer tray 4 and tray 5 post process.

Transparencies
The following transparencies are available for use: 3R5765 or 3R3108.
Transparencies are supported out of tray 5 (multiple sheet inserter) if
fed in the correct manner.  This premium transparency is specifically
designed to provide optimum copy quality including more vivid colors.
Use of other transparencies may cause machine damage and result in
excessive service calls.
