Release Notes for Cisco Small Business PVC300 PTZ Internet Camera with Audio and PoE

from your computer is played through your camera’s speakers. You can 
then use the icon to turn the camera’s external speakers on and off.

In Two-Way Audio mode, both the Listen Only and Talk Only icons 
appear on the Home page. With Two-Way audio, you can use the Talk 
Only icon in one of two ways: Toggle or Push. To use Toggle, if you want 
to talk, click the Talk Only icon. Click it again when you are done. To use 
Push, if you want to talk, hold down the Talk Only icon. When done, let go 
of the icon. Note that enabling Talk disables Listen, and disabling Talk 
enables Listen.

If the default camera password is not changed, individuals can guess the 
password and make changes to the camera configuration. It is 
recommended that you secure the camera to control who can log into the 
camera and make administrative changes. The primary administrator 
should change the default camera password upon initial login.

Video can be lost if the PVC300 is rebooted while connected to a managed 
switch that does not have Port Fast set. Workaround: Enable Port Fast on 
your access port, or if using an Enterprise switch, setup Rapid Spanning 
Tree Protocol (RSTP) and turn on Auto Edge. If RSTP is not available, disable 
Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). Refer to your managed switch administration 
guide for instructions on Port Fast, RSTP, or STP.
