Editing the Dialup String
Use the following procedure to edit the dialup string.
1.
From an xterm window on the DNCS, type su - and then press Enter.
Result: The password prompt appears.

Type the root password and then press Enter.
Result: You have root permissions in the xterm window.

Type cd /etc/ppp/peers and then press Enter.
4.
Type vi sa.scr and then press Enter.
Result: The sa.scr file opens for editing.
