Installation

Follow these steps to install the Laser Link Mini-Mainframe. 

 

1. 

Position the Mini-Mainframe in the desired location, using two people to 

support it until it can be secured with hardware. 
Note:  The Laser Link Mini-Mainframe is intended for installation and 

operation in a restricted access area. 

2. 

Secure the Mini-Mainframe into position from the front using the rack clips 

and mounting screws provided.  Tighten screws using a #2 Phillips-head 

screwdriver. 
Note:  The Mini-Mainframe is equipped with 19-inch mounting brackets. 

3. 

Place self-adhesive fiber routing clips in the appropriate position on the Mini-

Mainframe (in front of the module’s right/left side fiber connector, ½ inch in) 

to secure the module’s routed fiber.
