The PPP control panel appears.

Click the Registered User radio button.

Type your name in the Name text box.

Use the name that your ISP assigns to you.

Type your password in the Password text box.

Use the password that your ISP assigns to you.

Click the Save Password checkbox so that a checkmark appears.

Type the phone number of your ISP in the Number text box.

Choose Modem from the PPP control panel’s PPP menu.

The Modem control panel appears.

Choose the port to which your modem is connected from the “Connect via” pop-up menu.
