A Recording status segments:

Single rotating star = only one tuner is 
recording.
Dual rotating star = both tuners are 
recording.

B TV Pause/Play indicators
C Displays the following:

• Clock/Channel number while watching live 

TV

• Playback mode/Channel name while in 

playback mode  

• Current menu option

D Indicates that the Hard Disk Recorder is 

currently recording.

E Recording mode (27)
F TIMER indicator (27)

Indicates that Timer Recordings have been 
set.

G Indicates that the Hard Disk Recorder is in 

standby mode

H Indicates remote control activity.

You can turn off the front panel display when the recorder is turned on by setting “Front Panel” to “Off” (page 44).
