BUTTON FUNCTIONS
Mode Button (left button)
The display mode shifts each time the button is pressed (O-M-A-D-T), and the corresponding data is simultaneously dis-
played on the sub-display.  If the Mode button is held down for over 2 seconds, 24-hour clock will be displayed.
Start/Stop Button (right button)
Measuring of the Trip Distance and Elapsed Time is simultaneously started or stopped when the Start/Stop button is pressed.
During operation the speed scale symbol flickers.
Set Button (middle button)
When this button is pressed in the stop state in each mode, the following value can be changed;
• In (O) mode: Wheel Circumference
• In 24-hour Clock mode: 24-hour Clock
• In (T),(D) or (A) mode: on/off the Automatic Start/Stop
RESET
Select any mode except Total Distance (O), and press the Mode button and Start/Stop button simultaneously.  The memo-
rized Trip Distance, Elapsed Time, Average Speed and Maximum Speed will be erased. (When the two buttons are pressed in
“O” mode, the wheel circumference stored will be displayed.)
ALL CLEAR
When the AC button on the backside of the computer is pressed, all data stored in memory (trip distance, speed scale, wheel
circumference and clock time) will be erased.  All displays illuminates, then the “mile/h” symbol alone appears.  This opera-
tion should be executed only when irregular display occurs or no display appears.  Since all the memories are erased, set the
main unit again according to "Main Unit Preparation".
<For RDA InterRim Ergo>
If your RDA InterRim Ergo is later than 2001 model and has a hole on the Roller Support
Stay, you can install HyperBrain on it.  PLEASE NOTE: There is no hole on this model
before 2000.  Please look over and read the “Installing HyperBrain” section on the previous
page first to know how you should do it.

Sensor
Put the RDA Bracket on the backside of the Roller Support Stay, and tighten with the
supplied M4 Bolt (larger one). (see Fig. F)
M4 Bolt
Install the Speed Sensor on the RDA Bracket. (see Fig. G)
Install the Magnet Sensor on a spoke of your rear wheel (usually you should choose
the opposite spoke to the air valve for better balance).  Be sure you set it at same height
as the Speed Sensor. (see Fig. H)
To install the sensor, remove the Nut from the Magnet Sensor and sandwitch the spoke
with both parts, then tighten it firmly.  Put the spoke into the cut out section on the Nut.
Face the magnet to the Speed Sensor side.
Set the Speed Sensor position so the clearance between the Speed Sensor and the
Magnet Sensor is around 2 or 3 mm. (see Fig. I)
!
To avoid the problem of th sensor and magent hitting together, keep
the clearance as suggested above.
If the clearance is too wide the sensor will not work.
