5 Disconnect all the cables connected to the rear of the existing CD-ROM

drive, and also disconnect the audio cable from the sound card or
motherboard’s audio connector.

6 Remove the four screws holding the CD-ROM drive in place, then slide the

drive forward and out from the drive bay.
Slide the CRW6416S drive backwards into the now-vacant bay without
applying excessive force.
