Speakers: The top edge of your Device contains stereo speakers for audio content.  

Headphone jack: Plug in headphones or your own external speakers. Plugging in headphones or 
external speakers will turn off the built-in speakers. 

Micro-USB/power port: To charge your Device from a power outlet, connect it to a power 
outlet using the included power adapter. You can use a USB cable (not included) to connect your 
Device to a computer for transferring files. 

Power button: To turn on your Device, press the power button. To put your Device in sleep 
mode, press and release the power button. If you need to turn off the Device completely, such as 
when traveling on an airplane, press and hold the power button for seven seconds until the screen 
goes blank. If your Device does not power on or is unresponsive during use, you can do a hard 
restart by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds. The power button has a charge 
indicator light that is amber when your Device is charging and will turn off when the battery is 
fully charged. 

Your Device features a touchscreen interface that allows you to perform many tasks with a few 
gestures. 

To select an item, simply tap it.  

To turn a page or advance through your content libraries, simply swipe your finger left or right.  

Swipe your finger up or down to navigate your content.
