We identified our legacy products as

specifications and tell
them what they need

Before we started the packaging redesign we evaluated
competing brands, and more important, listened to barbers
and stylists from a broad demographic and geographic mix.
We also tapped the knowledge of retailers and our own
sales team. Then we asked what end users would want to
know at a glance, and relegated supporting details to the
side and back panels of the packaging. Our goal? Provide a
logical information flow and keep the product presentation
clean at point of sale.
