10. Start-Up
Only put the device into operation once you have become familiar with its features and these
operating instructions. Check again that all connections are correct. Do not put the product
into operation if it is damaged.

Always switch on the system’s amplifi er last and off fi rst. This will prevent any undesired nois-
es, e.g. when plugging in the mixer mains cable, from damaging the amplifi er or loudspeakers.

Make sure that the connected devices are not overloaded. Playback must never be distorted.
If distorted music signals can be heard although the volume on the amplifi er is not set too
high, switch off the device immediately and check the connection. If the connection is correct,
please contact a specialist.

The device must only be operated by persons familiar with the operating instructions and
observing them. Keep other persons and children away from the device.
11. Handling
•   Never connect the mains plug immediately after the device was taken from a cold to a warm environment. The
resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room temperature before connect-
ing it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
•   Never pull the mains plug from the socket by the cable. Only pull it from the mains socket by the intended grip
areas.
•  Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
•  For safety reasons, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket in case of a thunderstorm.
•   Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
12. Maintenance
Periodically verify the technical safety of the device, e.g. check for damage to the mains cable and the mixer casing.
If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated safely, disconnect it immediately and
make sure it is not unintentionally operated. Pull the mains plug from the mains socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
•  there is visible damage to the device, mains adapter or mains line
•  the device no longer works
•  the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
•  after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
