Connecting the Telephone to a PC and Installing USB Drivers
(only COMfortel 2600)

Note: If you install the USB driver, you will be able to configure the
telephone from the USB port on a PC.
You can also configure the telephone using a PC that is connected to the
PBX over a PC port (see the PBX manual).

Requirements

The Auerswald Mega Disk included in the package

A PC with the following features:

Intel Pentium 800 MHz or compatible processor

Windows XP (as of Service Pack 3), Windows 7 32-/64-Bit

Memory (RAM: 256 MB, recommended 512 MB;
for Windows 7: 512 MB, recommended 1 GB

USB interface: USB specification 1.1 or 2.0

CD-ROM drive

Mouse or compatible pointing device

SVGA graphics card with a resolution of 800 x 600;
recommended 1024 x 768 and 65536 colours (16 bit)

Note: You may need a USB driver update for your motherboard. If so,
please contact your motherboard manufacturer.

The PC must be located near the telephone.

Important: The length of the USB cable used for connecting may be a
maximum of 3 m (like the cable included in the package).
