Function „Version“
In this function, the firmware version of the screen/DVR is displayed.
Proceed as follows:
•  Use the buttons „2“ and „8“ to pick the function „Version“ and then push „
“. 
•  The screen shows the firmware version of the screen/DVR.
•  Push the button „MENU/ESC“ on the screen/DVR or the button „MENU“ on the IR remote control re-
peatedly to return to the respective previous menu or leave the OSD menu.
d) Submenu „Recorder Setting“
In the OSD menu, use the buttons „4“ and „6“ to select the submenu „Record Setting“ and push the 
button „
“. 
Function „Recording Type“
Here, you can choose if the screen/DVR is to record pictures or videos. 
  If you want to use motion detection for recording, observe that the recording of pictures is not 
possible in this operating mode. 
 
If you chose recording of pictures in the function „Recording Type“, motion detection is switched 
off.
Proceed as follows:
•  Use the buttons „2“ and „8“ to pick the function „Recording Type“ and then push „
“. 
•  Use the buttons „2“ and „8“ to switch between „Photo“ (recording of pictures) and „Video“ (Recor-
ding of videos).
•  Confirm the selection with „
“.
•  Push the button „MENU/ESC“ on the screen/DVR or the button „MENU“ on the IR remote control re-
peatedly to return to the respective previous menu or leave the OSD menu.
Function „Recording Mode“
In this function, you can choose three different operating modes for the video recording. 
1. „One Key“
To start and end the recording, push the button (button „REC/STOP“ on the screen/DVR or the IR remote 
control).
2. „Motion Detect“
The recording is started when the screen/DVR recognises a motion in the monitored area. The sensitivity of 
the motion detection can be set. A specific image section can also be specified for motion detection (see 
description of the function „Motion Detect Setup“).
  A special feature is the pre-recording with the motion detection switched on („Pre-Recording“). 
This means that the screen/DVR will also save the 5 seconds from before motion recognition 
when a motion is recognised in the monitoring area.
