Function „Motion Detect Setup“
In this function, the sensitivity for ,motion detection can be set in 3 steps; you can also determine a specific

(rectangular) image section for motion detection.
Selection of a lower sensitivity or specification of a certain image section is recommended if there are, e.g., 

any trees and shrubbery in the monitored area the leaves of which are moving in the wind. 

  If incorrect recordings happen often, not only reduce sensitivity but also activate or reduce/move 

the image section for monitoring, align the camera differently or install it elsewhere.

Proceed as follows:
•  Use the buttons „2“ and „8“ to pick the function „Motion Detect Setup“ and then push „“. 
•  Use the buttons „2“ and „8“ to choose between „Sensitivity“ (sensitivity settings) and „Area Setting“ 

(setting an image section).

•  Confirm the selection with „

  „Sensitivity“:
  The sensitivity can be set in 3 steps („High“, „Medium“, „Low“). Select the desired step as usual with the 

buttons „2“ and „8“ and then push „

“ to save the settings.

  „Area Setting“:
  The display shows a red frame. This is the current image section that is monitored for movement. 
  The button „

“ can reduce the frame, the button „CHANNEL/AUTO“ increases it. The four arrows are 

used to move the frame. 

  Once you have set the size and position of the frame as desired, push the button „MENU/ESC“ on the 

screen/DVR or the button „MENU“ on the IR remote control to leave the setting mode.

•  Push the button „MENU/ESC“ on the screen/DVR or the button „MENU“ on the IR remote control re-

peatedly to return to the respective previous menu or leave the OSD menu.
