Vector Directory Number 

This is a display-only field when using an administration command such as 

 or 

 to access the screen. The extension is a 1- to 5-digit number that starts 

with a valid first digit and length as defined by the System’s dial plan.

This is an optional field that need not contain any data. It is the name associated 
with the VDN.

Enter up to a 27-character 
alphanumeric name that 
identifies the VDN. 

The name may be truncated on agents’ displays 
depending on the application. When information 
is forwarded with an interflowed call, only the 
first 15 characters are sent
