A lithium battery maintains the DM clock when power is 
not connected.

To replace the battery:

1.

Disconnect power to the DM.

NOTE: This can be done by removing the CAN cable 
from the bottom of the DM.

2.

Remove rear access panel.

3.

Remove the old battery and replace with a new 
CR2032 battery.

4.

Properly dispose the old lithium battery according to 
local codes.

5.

Replace rear access panel.

6.

Connect the power to the DM and reset the clock 
through Screen 3. Refer to Appendix B - DM 
Setup Screens Overview for more detail.

Use any alcohol-based household cleaner, such as 
glass cleaner, to clean the DM. Spray on the rag then 
wipe DM. Do not directly spray the DM. Replaceable 
screen protectors, 15M483, are available.
