Treeview in archive - the user now has the choice of viewing 
documents with the existing file view or the new user friendly 
Treeview (expanded view).

. Display options in Treeview - selected index values can be 

displayed in addition to the short description - when using the 
Treeview view.

. Multiple selection - the tree view allows the selection and 

processing of multiple documents, for example the sending of mails.

.  Newly designed user interface.
.  Doubleview - different versions of documents can be simultaneously 

displayed and compared.

.  Sounds like search - returns words with a similar sound or spelling 

to the search text when searching for documents. 

. Display of previous search text - a list of the previously used 

search texts can be utilised.

.  Profile administration - utilising various profiles allows the use 

of archives on the local machine as well network archives.

.  Selection of keywording via a dialogue - keywording can be 

selected from a dialogue as well as from a context menu.

. Direct annotations - a new type of Sticky-note can be used directly in

documents. This functionality is available for graphical documents, for 
example TIF, BMP, JPG, PNG etc.

. OpenOffice.org 2.0 and StarOffice 8.0 are now supported.
. Consistency checks for the database.
.  Improved Fulltext engine.
.  New user right 'Delete Version'. 
. Improved document display - the direct display of documents 

now supports more than ten new file formats.

.  Permanent removal of deleted document versions.
.  Improved report options - the options for the archive report have 

been increased. 

. New improvements to the search function.
. New concept for document templates - Hierarchical sorting, 

access right control and version control are now available.

. Re-scan option - scanned documents in the Mailbox can now be 

re-scanned when the scan quality is not sufficiently high. 

. New options for display - the performance has been increased 

during the display of documents.  

.  Dynamic selection of display filters - text based files without the 

extension .txt can also be displayed from the archive, for example .xml,
.ini, .pl, .cgi etc.

. Improved Mailbox - upon archiving documents from the Mailbox the

user has the option of assigning automatic references to other paths in
the ELO archive.

.  Export of keyword lists - when exporting documents and structure 

elements the appropriate keyword lists can be exported with the 
documents or structure elements.

. Document freezing and signing (additional signature software 

required) - the current state of the document is saved as a TIFF file and
then electronically signed. 

.  Multiple document signing - when the additional signature software

is installed multiple documents can be simultaneously digitally signed.
