Recommended scan settings for Xerox scanners
This section details the scan settings recommended for each of the Xerox scanner models that can be
used with Accxes Copy.

Xerox Wide Format 6604 Solution™/6605 Solution™
When using the Xerox 6604/6605 with the color enabled scanner, the following settings are
recommended for both color calibration and copying:

At the scanner, configure a new Mailbox at the scanner with exactly the same name as that
entered in the Mailbox field of the Accxes Copy scan settings. In this set-up the Mailbox name is,

In the Scan to Mailbox tab, set the following options:

Rendering: Color 24-bit
•
File Format: Jpeg
•
Original Document Type: Text/Photo
•
Compression: Best Image Quality
•
In the Image Quality tab, set the following options:

Density: 0
•
Contrast: 0
•
White Point: 0
•
In the Advanced Settings tab, set the following options:
•
Preview: Disabled
•
Resolution: 300dpi (Any higher can be used but will severely slow down calibration and
printing. It will also slow down the memory resources on the computer hosting Accxes Copy.)

Save all the above options to a template and call it Accxes Copy. This will make recalling of the
