Pole mount installation overview

This section describes the procedures to be followed when installing the RRH on a pole.

There are two types of pole mounting installations:

1. Pole brackets and pole bands

2. Pole brackets with (customer supplied) through bolts

Pole brackets are available in low profile or standard. Standard pole brackets provide a
greater standoff from pole for additional cable clearance.

Each pole mounting band consists of a fixed retainer extrusion, a sliding retainer
extrusion, a carriage bolt, and a band, as shown in the following figure

To mount equipment pole brackets - standard or low profiles - must be threaded on to the
band.
