This section explains the features of the CAN. 

The CAN of this series has the following features:

CAN protocol ver. 2.0A/B is supported.

Bit rates up to 1 Mbits/s are supported.

An identification mask is applied to each message object. 

⋅

 

Programmable FIFO mode is supported. 

⋅

 

Maskable interrupts. 

⋅

 

Programmable loopback mode for self-test operation is supported. 

⋅

 

Data can be written to and read from a message buffer using an interface register. 

⋅

 

Support 64/128 message buffers. As the number depends on channels, see "CHAPTER : 

OVERVIEW".
