Hughes DW6000 User Manual

Follow the steps below to configure a DW6000 with a static IP address on a 
MacIntosh

®

 system.

1. Select 

 from the Mac interface. The Systems 

Preference menu appears.

2. Select the 

 icon. The Network screen appears. See Figure 51.

3. Select the 

 drop-down list. See Figure 52.

4. Select 

Manually

.

5. Type the appropriate IP address from the range of available IP addresses in 

the 

IP Address

 field.  See page 45 for details.  Do not use the numbers in the 

examples, which are for illustrative purposes only.

6. Select the Apply Now button. The Mac is now configured.
