Management ACL Commands

The following example shows how all ports are denied in the access-list called 

mlist.

console(config)# management access-list mlist

console(config-macal)# deny

Use the management access-class command in Global Configuration mode 

to restrict management connections. To disable restriction, use the no form 

of this command. 

management access-class {console-only | 

name}

•

name — A valid access-list name. (Range: 1–32 characters)

•

console-only — The switch can be managed only from the console.

This command has no default configuration.

Global Configuration mode

This command has no user guidelines.

The following example configures an access-list called 

mlist as the 

management access-list.

console(config)# management access-class mlist
