• When "Multicast" is selected for "Transmission type" on the [JPEG/H.264] (or [JPEG/MPEG-4]) tab of the

"Image/Audio" page, audio transmission will become unavailable while monitoring H.264 (or MPEG-4) 
images. To transmit audio, click the [JPEG] button on the "Live" page.

• When selecting a smaller value for "Bandwidth control(bit rate)" on the [Network] tab of the "Network"

page (☞ page 54) while putting a priority on the JPEG/MPEG-4 image transmission, select "16kbps" for 
"Audio bit rate".

• When a shorter interval is selected, delay time will be shorter.

• Making the value bigger will result in a longer delay, but audio interruptions can be minimized.

• Audio may temporarily be interrupted or noise may be heard the unit, or when multiple users are access-

ing concurrently. It may be possible to diminish the interruption or noise by setting a longer interval for 
"Audio output interval (PC to Camera)".

• Audio may sometimes not be heard depending on the network environment.

• The transmission port number entered for "Audio output port (PC to Camera)" will be used only when

"Unicast port (MANUAL)" is selected for "Transmission type". 
When "Off" is selected for "H.264 transmission" (or "MPEG-4 transmission") (☞ pages 34 and 37) or when 
"Unicast (AUTO)" or "Multicast" is selected for "Transmission type", it is not necessary to enter the trans-
mission port number.
